Floors

Any truck owner, hobbyist or simple neat freak always desires having a clean & organized garage. The first step to a clean garage is having a floor surface you can practically eat off. However the only really cool garage floor coatings we have seen have been at race car shops. You know the types we are talking about, those bright gray surfaces, whose finish is so smooth you almost hate walking on it, much less working on it. You can't even imagine spilling oil or other fluids on it. How are these surfaces created?

The answer is quite easy. A heavy duty industrial epoxy finish is sprayed or rolled on, usually in 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness. The end result is a very smooth finish that is easily cleanable and generally very expensive. If you have any doubts, ask the owner what he paid for the finish.

Floor Coating Process
Vortex & the Granitex Polyphatic Glaze are capable of outlasting most epoxy floor coatings, and can be used in varying methods to work in virtually any situation.

Prior to the Vortex™ crew showing up, the entire garage floor must be emptied of its junk - or classically contained stuff - so there will be nothing left on the floors when Vortex™ applies its magic. A thorough sweeping is just the beginning.

Vortex Floor 2 Industrial warehouse flooring or residential garages are not a problem. When it comes to creating a super durable floor covering that seals and protects as well as having a great insulating factor (R-value), Vortex is the floor coating of choice. Even cracks disappear with Vortex.

Super SealerUnlike other spray bed liner companies, Vortex strongly suggests the use of a Sealing coat prior to the application of the industrial membrane material. In fact, Vortex even has their very own patented Super Sealer™ that can penetrate concrete up to six inches, then expands as it dries to fill the pores of the concrete.  Super Sealer™ was chemically engineered to form a chemical bond with the Vortex™ & Granitex™ Polyphatic Glaze products, for maximum adhesion.

Vortex™ Portable Sprayliner MachineThe portable Vortex™ Sprayliner machine's unique portability makes it perfect for construction uses and other on site applications .  The entire portable unit heats the material to roughly 90° F (32° C) internally prior to the application and can easily be loaded into the back of a pickup truck bed.
